Dave Updegraff - Founder of The Genesis Process©

David L. Updegraff - SPHR is the founder of The Genesis Process©. He attended Northwest Missouri State University and obtained a BS degree in Psychology. During and after college Mr. Updegraff was involved in law enforcement for 10 years. Later he spent several years working with insurance companies and employee benefits programs.

For the last 20 years he has been involved in the human resources field, specializing in organizational improvement, team building, and conflict prevention. Dave has been heavly influenced by the work of Dr. Stephen R. Covey and his books The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People, First Things First, and Principle Centerd Leadership.

Mr. Updegraff is Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Ohnward Bancshares, Inc., a bank holding company that owns several banks, insurance offices, real-estate offices and other small businesses. He is responsible for all human resources operations including, managing payroll, a large ESOP and 401k profit sharing plan, corporate training and outside HR consulting.
